Bio of
Bill Limbacher

Instructor: Bill Limbacher
Instruments: Instructor of Cherokee Language

For many years I have studied Cherokee, both on my own and at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. I have successfully completed Cherokee language courses offered online by the Cherokee Nation, give private lessons and will be teaching an 8 week course at Wilmington College through the Wilmington Institute for Lifelong Learning (WILL).

In class I seek to engage as many senses as possible, and utilize books, CD's, DVD's as well as activities ranging from something simple like counting M&M's to more complex actions such as purchases at a store like For A Song & A Story, singing, playing games like Bingo or Uno and writing.

I look forward to helping you learn the language of Sequoyah, inventor of the Cherokee syllabary. Ask about the Buy Local and group discounts.
